be advised, remchester smiths that specialize in the expensive antiques are neither inexpensive or fast, as a rule. the restoration of my 1953 model 12 went fast at 9 months. my 06 has been in process for almost a year at this point. my 12 was in 'good' condition and cost $200+ for some basic polishing and an authentic re-blue. the 06 will probably be about the same.
