I have a sidefolder kit from ORF that I would like to build. What reciever's have you guys used?

Only thing I would like special is Bulgarian markings on the selector area. Who was doing the marking for that? Thanks

I just finished my Bulgy sidefolder kit from ORF on a Tapco flat. Just have to trim the rear portion to match the trunion. Pookieweb's templates are great for the cuts. Also, I saved the scrap receiver on the front and hammered it flat to use a template for the button hole and latch cut-out.

yep that works like a charm if u can save the old rec...my bulgy 74 is on a OOW rec and i very much so dislike them

all my krink side folders are on 1050 spring steel flats...they feel solid

i think tom saywer manfac does the selector markings

Curtis at www.akbuilder.com makes a pre-cut flat for the bulgi sidefolder.

Ditto - you desperately need a GT Type 2. Get the Park option - it's worth it.

The bad news - you will have a wait from time of order to receipt of about 2 months. That's life - everyone wants these receivers.

+1 on the Global,..ther are all ive used so far,...but DCI may,..MAY come up with a reciver for the side folders,..if it is anything like the RPK reciver i just got fron them i'll wait to see what they make,....if it turns out they are not going to make it,..well ill order up some global's

thought i would add
i think the oow makes a better feeling gun when its finished
but its ALOT harder to add a sf to then a 1mm rec
