So...my team mates and I are bullshiting with some polish PSD detail members and I notice one of them has a right sturdy, low profile looking folding stock on his AK.  So I point to the folder and tell him I like his choice of folder.  So as a kindly gesture (and totally unexpected) he downloads his AK to let me finger fuck it and low and behold I discover its a 5.56 AK, or later to find out a Beryl wz96.  I tell you what, this AK/Beryl is the cats ass; chambered in the mroe accurate and available NATO std round,  selector switch on the left side by the thumb, and a sturdy folder to boot.

With the short supply of 5.45X39 this will be on my list to buy...if I can find one.

Its a machine gun so yeah.

The only way you could get anything like that here is if poland started cutting them up and shipping them here, and I doubt thats going to happen any time soon.

Looked just like the pic you posted, but without that optic and rail on top.

I take all kinds of pictures, but it doesn't do any good since I can't post them due to OPSEC.

Not all of it, strip the barrel and leave that too. You cant bring in a stock set, and barrel attachements? Could easily make a clone with those parts.

Um, where do you think you could get one? The guys that are issued them aren't going to just give you one and it's not something you would find in a buried refrigerator.

I'm pretty sure that NO WEAPON PARTS can be brought back anyway.

I was thinking more along the lines where I go on a different contract where the employer allows personal weapons and I pick one up at the mass arms show held in Arbil, Iraq every month.  Talk about a gunshow, you want hand grenades, you got it, you want RPK/PKM/RPG, you get it.

first off 762 maybe you could be a little less of dick about things when you guestion somebody....second, i wasn't asking coord. to his position or his units...i was asking where Arbil was and how to get there; maybe i misread something...but i wasn't looking for any info about units cause quite frankly i could careless where they are...if Arbil is a camp, so be it; my mistake...

that's interesting.  I guess I'll have to go tell the handguards (with arabic carvings) and bayonets that are at my house they have to go back.

if you PURCHASE items at the bazaar, you're fine.  you just can't TAKE parts off a gun you find lying around.

Let me see if I can dig up some Beryl pics that I downloaded a few months ago...

The rear of the rail is actually fastened with the top outer stock screw.
