Guys,

A friend traded for a BWest AK. I have read some where the Bwest imports are Ok, the ones they made are junk. My question is how do you tell the difference?

It is stamped AKS 7.62x39 on the left side.

China
In front of the mag well.

The serial numbers match it is 00xxx.

That is an imported rifle if the China is on the receiver and would be good to go. It is the
B-West manufactured receivers that are not heat treated, not the ones made in China.

I have the same rifle. it is an imported receiver, no worries.
