I bought what was supposed to be a SAM7-A1 and I picked it up today and it is marked on the side of the rifle SAM7. I was wondering if the A1's were marked A1 on the side? The one I received has a removeable flash hider. The manual says SAM7 A1 but that is just the manual? I just want to make sure I got what I paid for! On the Arsenal site the SAM7's are standard production and the A1's are the limited edition's.   Thanks!

I don't think the A1s are marked as such, including the SLR-105A1s.

If i'm not mistaken, the a1 designation is for no ban rifles.

I was in the similar boat.

I bought what was suppose to be a SAM-7A1R, after receiving it noticed the receiver says SAM-7S.  It had the underlug, the flash hider and the scope rail so in this configuration it is an A1-R.  The question was if they sold me a modified BAN (7-S) gun or it was Mfg'd that way.  Called Arsenal and they checked the serial no.  He said my rifle was build right after the Ban was lifted and they had a lot of the SAM-7 (Ban) receivers that they used to build the no Ban rifles.  So after all everything was fine.  That was a relief!

If I had to guess I would say yours is a similar situation but to confirm, call the Mfg and verify.  I hope this helps.

thanks everyone! I will call Arsenal on Monday and have them check the serial #
The SAM7 Classic that I have is marked Classic and that is what concerned me that it should have been marked SAM7 A1. Thanks again
