I bought a POSP 8x42 from KalinkaOptics.com and they inadvertently sent me a 6x42. I contacted their customer care depaartment through email and Jeffrey, their rep, has been in very close contact with me over the last few days. I even told him I accidentally blemished the item and he still told me he would make it right and sent out the corrected replacement BEFORE I sent my wrong model back. These guys have ridiculously good customer service practices. I am in awe that they would put themselves out like that and send a customer a scope without even having a return item in hand yet. I WILL buy from them again in the future.

The nice thing about nightvisionweb.com is that they are just down the road from me so I wont have to pay any shipping.... They have advised me that the PK-A is much better than the cobra for more than just plinking at the range... I plan to try out the SAR1 on jack rabbits and coyotes, which requires the ability to quickly acquire the target. But I just noticed on Freedomoptics.com that there is something called a PK-AS-V... I wonder how that compares to the PK-A.

The PKAS-W pictured on Tantal's website is on my A4gery:  Don't know how it compares to the PK-A, but it is a very interesting optic, been busy though, had not had a chance to go to the range..... |

Because the always-on center dot on the PKAS is etched in glass, it has a roughly 4" eye relief. Fine for a receiver mount, just don't get the Weaver varient and plan a fwd mount. The circle about dot may be nice for leading the aim on speedy varmints.
Nice to see a happy review on Kalinka form Z28. I think it is the first good review I have ever read about them. |

I ordered a scope from tehm a few years ago, they got it to me in one piece in a timely manner.
ETA: These things are getting expensive, when I ordered I got one of the low end russian scopes with the AK mount for about $80, and IIRC that was including shipping. That scope has served me well, Ihave used it to kill several deer. |
