I'm looking for a PO3.5x21P scope, and everybody seems to be out now. Had been planning to use FreedomOptics.com, but they don't show them anymore.

AKOptics.com has them on their site for $210, but haven't heard any feedback on them. I already got screwed by Kalinka, so I don't want to go through that again. Any experience with these guys?

They have two completely different websites, so I guess I'd be a little surprised if they were the same. I'll investigate it.

I had planned to use freedomoptics, because I've heard lots of good things about them. Just nothing about AKOptics...

Hmm, when I enter www.akoptics.com it goes straight to www.freedomoptics.com.

This is the link I have. Had it for a while. That's strange, kicking over to freedomoptics. Did it for me too. They are both from New York and have similar posted policies. Maybe they ARE related.

Weird. When I click from that link I posted, it goes to FreedomOptics too. Same link from my Favorites doesn't. Maybe the other site's dead, but I still get it somehow.

Still doesn't look like FO has the scope I want. Oh well, thanks Superchicken.

Gentlemen, sorry for the confusion.  I used to run the akoptics site, but then consolidated everything at freedomoptics.com, but apparently left some old files behind.  No more, just clean those up.  If you try www.akoptics.com it will take you to www.freedomoptics.com

As to PO 3.5x21P scopes, I'm out of them for the forseeable future.  I have however one piece of the illuminated reticle model that I've been holding for someone since last summer.  Unfortunately, the guy finally bailed out, so the sight is up for sale at www.freedomoptics.com/comersus/store/comersus_viewItem.asp?idProduct=122

I also have the latest shipment from Belarus being cleared through the customs right now, so please check my website for some updates in the next few days.  Among other things, the PK-S01 (PK-AS) black/red dot sights will be back in stock.  Without any reservations, I think the PK-AS (PK-S01) sight is the best available sight for an AK, period.

For those, waiting for the Kobra sights, despite doing everything I could, it doesn't look like they will be back in stock until January, at the earliest.

Finally, thank you for all the kind words :)  I'll try to keep it up.

Happy Holidays!!!

Thanks for clearing that up. I don't think I've ever seen a lit reticle on the 3.5x21, cool!
