Who is this guy?  I finally got a response for someone over there:

What seems to be the problem Sean?

I checked and your account has been put in a special account, what makes this even more interesting is your a white collar professional.  I will say your email got one of my Admin's attention due to the content of your email, he thought it would be best I emailed you back.  I have been told you have chastised our admin's before using your profession as a way to push yourself on my staff, is this correct?

I got there side of the story and I just wanted to hear your before I make any changes or not.  I own this website and sometimes I do get envolved when I am needed.  Our Admin's are not perfect and do make a mistake from time to time.  I would hope you could clean up the colorful language as I am willing to listen to what you have to say.

Apparently you got an email from Bowhunt himself.  His real name is David Thornton.  He recently "morphed" into the "Gunsnet Admin Staff" identity to distance himself from any legal ramifications from the Gary Gucciano mess.

I guess you could say you just got the "shut yer cockholster" and don't come back.  He uses the term "cockholster" as a loose reference to someone who sucks dick....your mouth being a holster for cock.  Pretty sad coming from the administrator of a gun board.  Just another example of how bad that board actually is, and a big reason I left and never looked back.

Good luck.

CampyBob,

I damn near fell off my chair becasue I could not stop laughing while I was reading your response.  I was thinking along the same lines.

Right after I read your response, I received a response fomr David.  I hate to admit it, but he was reasonable and says he reinstated my account:

Sean,

Thank you for your response.  I concur with some of what you
said.  As far as the golden rule, that is just hearsay concerning
our sponsors.  We have many who have questioned them after
repeated attempts to take care of it off the website and as long
as the members stick to the facts.  Sean, we have had many a false
member come and make false statements against our sponsors this
year.  So for a while we just moved threads condemning the
sponsors for a couple weeks and this is where this rumor must have
started.  Upon checking out each thread all 14 of them were false
and only 1 of them was true in which we did help the member get
what was due to him.

Concerning the statement that EVERYONE is afraid to answer, you
may have posted in a forum where it did not get the views or maybe
some people where not online at the time.

Anyways you have proved to me that you do have a level head and
due have concerns like most.  So I am lifting your current status
and returning you to regular member status with a note to the
Admin’s this is my doing.  I hope you and my website can start on
a clean slate.  By the time you receive and read this email your
account will have been taken care of.

Sean, we have great members here and if you give them the
opportunity you will get some very decent replies.

I wish you the best and have a Merry Christmas if I don’t hear
from you!

David

I was wondering about that myself.

Is it true that AK-47.net is based in San Antonio?

Shit, K-Var and Tapco had some problems with these guys didn't they?

Is Gary Gucciano  the dude in Kasas that was stelaing all the parts and taking peoples money without providing the services he promised?
