I saw one at a gunshow yesterday and the bolt carrier was blued and matched the receiver.  Is this standard or are they usually/supposed to be in the white like the other SKS rifles?

I'm not buying it, just curious so I know if it's legit or not if I do run across one I want to purchase.

My Russian came "painted" black with the rest of the rifle.  It does has been back to the arsenal at least once.  My Dad's that was also redone at the arsenal came with a bolt in the white.  His also has the laminated stock

Here is mine..

I've seen both. Seems the rearsenal-ed ones seem to have the blued bolts more often.

What i'd liek to know is whats with the price? Russians used to be $75. Now they're going $350+. dang.....

Thanks for the information.  The one I saw was priced at $290 I think.  A friend of mine just sold one for $300.
