OK, so I'd thought I'd rub it in a bit...a Russian friend of mine dropped by and gave me his copy of 9th POTA on DVD....from what I understand, this is probably one of the best AK pron movies out there....

Follows a platoon (I think) of Russian Army guys from training through Afghanistan...supposed to be pretty brutal and realistic...

I'll let you know tomorrow hopefully, if I can watch it tonight....

ETA...I guess it is in Russian only, with no subtitles...somehow I think I'll be able to get the drift though....

OK, remembered I can play it on my computer, stuck it in to skim....HOLY SHIT....this looks good. It seems very realistic, and great stuff...T-72's, BMP's, Hind's...and talk about AK-74 pron!

Battle scenes look really well done.

I know who I will be rooting for....and it ain't the muj of the RoP....

I' have to find a translation of that flick... The ads looked really good...
