Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - 5.45 vs 7.62 receivers. Differences?

I'm sick of waiting for my 7.62 receiver from GT.  Is there any other difference between the 47 and 74 receivers other than the lower rail and the ejector?  My local gunshop has 5 or 6 GT AK74 receivers laying around and I'd be willing to use it if there weren't any serious differences.  Thanks for your help.

the magwell is alittle longer and not as wide
the ejector is alittle longer and thats about it

its fairly simple to make a 74 into a 47 rec
total pain to go the other way tho

go for it ive done it befor and it actually only takes few min
