My Yugo 59/66 SKS has night sights. How do I tell if they are phosphorous or tritium? Can I tell from the date/serial number? Anyone have a link to pics of both?
Thanks,
Jim

I believe the phosphers sights are round dots, the trinium are thin glass tubes.I used to have a yugo with the trinium sights but sold it,sorry I cant describe the sights better. But you cant mistake one for the other.

Thanks. I had found that info on another board. These are the round dot phosphorous sights. I think these will be better as the tritium apparently has a half life less than the years spent in storage.
