Have always wanted a Galil in 223 and finally have the money to do something about it.  Saw an ad on gunsamerica for a LNIB imported 397S with just about everything ever made for the galil...mag adapter, scope mount, 9mags, cheekpiece, box and accessories for 3100$  Seems a bit steep and wondering what a fair offer would be.  Thanks in advance for the advice.

It being a "S" model , I would offer no more than $2400 MAX for the package.

Para069, thx for the reply.  Contacted this guy and he is willing to deal, but he insists that rifle is all IMI, assembled at the factory, the only thing it doesnt have is the bayo lug.  It is my understanding that some rifles imported just prior to the 89 ban were stamped with the S by Action Arms and were not the classic post ban rifles (thumbhole stocks, no night sights etc...).  Would this increase the value? Kinda inbetween price of a true preban and postban...
