Hey guys, Anyone else on here besides me like the 20Rd mags better than the 30's?

20's are wimpy...
I have some. Never use them.
Only have them to display with the AMD-65
I like 40's and drums for most shooting.
I waste less time loading mags...

I like the looks of the 20 better. It gives the AK a more balanced look especially with an underfolder.

I like the 20 rounders for shooting from the bench & prone, They don't stick down as far & are perfect for use in my AMD65
Also 7.62x39 usualy comes in 20 round boxes anyway..
Enjoy Those AKs

Since I bought my first Bulgarian waffle mag I rarely load up anything else.
I agree the 20rnd mags are good for shooting off a bench.

I love my 20s and they do get much more use then my longer mags and I have plenty of the 30s, 40s, 55-rd, and 75-rd drums.  The 20s are easier to load and as ststed they are much easier to shoot off a bench or prone.

With my SAR-3, the only thing I could find other then the 30-rd mags were a few 10-rd mags and I like those a lot too but 10-rounds really is pretty week.

Of cource, I also like shooting 20-rd mags out of the AR-15 better then using the 30-rd magsand the 10-rd mags in the AR-10 better then the 20-rd mags for the same reasons.

The 20's are nice because I only have to use 1 small box to load them.  I dont need to open up 2 to load 20.

I prefer the 20s my self.

I prefer 20 rounders in my 7.62x39 AKs, and in my 5.56mm AK and also in my AR-15.  IMO the guns handle better and allow you to get lower to a bench or when shooting prone.

I think their best application is off the bench, prone and in pistols.

I got one 20rd and like. Its "just right" and helps me conserve ammo.
