Just got this from aimsurplus.com. This is my first AK. In fact, it's my first rifle. I think the wood looks real good. The gas tube is slighlty canted, but other than that it is really nice.

I like those stocks. Looks like you have an excellent rifle, first or otherwise. Please let us know how she shoots. My kid's SAR 2 with a canted gas block shoots tighter than my straight SAR 1.
