For "long term" storage you're better off with the 1994-1995 "Portugese/Belgium" battlepacks. I've never used the Golden Tiger but I have shot just about everything else. I feel that the "Portugese/Belgium" ammo is the best available and fairly reasonably priced. I'd be willing to bet in a year or two it won't be around any longer.

Who has availability and good pricing on it? Please post suppliers, ok? I see the 200 round packs selling for 24.95. plus shipping at Aim Surplus. I personally like AIM. http://www.aimsurplus.com/acatalog/copy_of_7_62x39_Brass_cased__200rd_Battle_Packs_.html Any other prices and suppliers? Regards

There is a tacked thread at the top of this forum for the ammo vendors.
Ammo is plentiful and easy to find. It shouldn't take more than a couple of minutes of looking to find what you need. |

I just ordered a 1000 rounds of the "battle pack" 7.62x39 from ammunitionstore.com.
The ammo was $109.95, but the shipping was $35.00. Ouch. |
