first off, I admit this is a very unusual question or thing to do.   clearly it is not a precision instrument,,, it is a  close quarters weapon,  got it,    just asking is all.

are there any Tavor experts on here?   specifically for the x95,    just curious if there is a way to stop the gas piston from doing it's thing in order to max out accuracy vs semi-auto.    i know guys used to do this in certain long distance ar-15 matches.    they would just cycle manually it was such a low round count and no time pressure.   somehow helped with recoil or something.

thought i might try it with my tavor,  see if it tightens up the groups,   but unsure best way to do it

The only way to accomplish what you want is a valve on the gas block where you could quickly shut off all the gas from the gas port.   The only Tavor with an adjustable two position gas block is the 300 Blackout.   The two positions are suppressed and normal.  Personally I don't think shutting off the gas would have any significant merit but I’m not an expert.

thanks.   after checking it out, there is no way to modify the gas block without expensive machining.  fairly complicated.   not really worth it.   was hoping to tame the recoil/movement of the bolt.
