Looking for something to measure wind speed/direction, and possibly temperature/humidity also. What says the hive?

Might as well just get one with Applied Ballistics on it while you're at it. |

If you can swing the 5700 elite, go that route. Keep an eye out on the exchanges as I see them pop up from time to time as folks upgrade.

Kestrel 5700 Elite with link and AB is what I prefer.
The other one I can suggest is the Hornady 4DOF Kestrel. |

If you get the Kestrel 5700, toss in a few more bucks and buy Kestrel’s wind vane mount for it.
This lets you stick the sensor, including wind direction, off your bench or shooting position, while collecting all the data. Otherwise do get a wind direction vane. Any “dumb” vane will give you at least a decent idea of how the wind will affect your shots. |

Kestrel w/ Bluetooth at a minimum. AB version is nice but you can sync the Bluetooth model with your phone app and get similar results.
