I'm in CA and was referred here to find @randall in Van Nuys. I just purchased a Remington 700 in 30-06 and am looking to change to 300WM.

You are going to need more than just a barrel. Bolt face is wrong.
There is also a want to buy section in the Equipment Exchange that is probably more appropriate place to post this. |

They get pretty close to 300WM with the same bullets. You will be a little slower but can still reach out. Changing a 30-06 to a 300WM is more hassle than it's worth especially in a factory 700. Just buy a new rifle. |
