I have 4# of 4064 in metal cans that the outsides are rusting out, the powder looks ,smells , burns good , I need to find a suitable container to store it in, “ not glass” any suggestions , was thinking black quart oil jugs cleaned out of corse .

I would never put powder in oil jugs no matter how clean you think you got them.
Just find a darker, plastic container. I am sure you can find them or ask friends for some old powder containers. Also when you say rusting through do you mean to the powder or just surface rust? |

Look around at a USGI surplus store... you might find something suitable.
Bear in mind, modern propellant containers are , by design, manufactured with some kinda anti-static plastic... so something to consider as well. I realize powder measures can be static'y as heck... but I felt the anti static comment was worth mentioning. And you are gonna want to label the crap out of the new container... what powder, lot number. I save my old canisters but I maybe a usgi canteen would work well

Just go get the appropriate sized Tupperware container from the grocery store and label the shit out of it after wiping it inside and out with a dryer sheet...
