Are they blem or seconds? Or just bought bulk?

They are bulk, midsouth specified tighter tolerances so they are better sorted than normal nosler CC's.

The 168gr match monsters are great. I switched from SMK due to price alone. There was a SLIGHT (0.1 moa) increase in group size averages from 1-300yd but not enough for me to care for my non-competitive purposes.

FWIW I had great success with basic load development using the speer .308 165gr boat tail soft point (pn 2034) in a mix brass, wlr prime, modest charge of TAC. Seated to about 2.725 oal in .308Win. Out of my bergara it was looking like a 1.5moa load with no tuning, probably 2moa in my brother's non-floated bushmaster. The loads cycled the gas gun, no issues with feeding that profile from the bushy mag or pmags.

I loaded the same bullet over a modest charge of H4895 in win cases, again WLR primers, and book length (I forget specifics) in 30-06 to shoot from my mauser 3000. It was around 1.5moa again, and I think it could do better as I was just shooting prone off a bag.

I got these bullets for $.19/ea on midway, which is cheaper than quite a few brands of fmj. Considering the price and performance over fmj, I'm going to order them in bulk asap (OOS currently). They also seem to work well on deer size game, so that's a plus, something ball won't do.

Since they were OOS, I got some unbranded 168gr BTHP factory seconds for $.20/ea, still cheaper than ball, to test. Hopefully they work.

Thanks for reminding me about these! I completely forgotten about them. Onces I get the money up I will definitely pick some of the 123gr 6.5mm bullets for the 6.5 Grendel.

How accurate is the states B.C on these?
