Sweet looking rifle. That is close to what I want my (TU) project to look like. I am waiting for the PRS in Olive to come out in about 2 weeks per MagPul today. I am machining my own forestock, and grip with an extended LOP by about .80". I am also working on making a one piece base / ring picatinny setup so I can swap my Leo Mk4 from my Rem 700 Ti .300 SAUM to the (TU). How do you like the monopod? |

Why does everyone seem to have glass on their guns? Mine wear Karlsrhue match sights and shoots great out to 600 yds. does anyone esle have a killer AR without glass? TrapperJohn4077, This is one I finished last year. AR-10 type with a 26" Noveske .308 barrel. PNW rear sight, gehmann front. I have not been out past 100 yards yet, rifle hammers at 100. Mike

Heres another entry from me.....I really love this one MK12 MOD1 Clone Upper: White Oak upper White Oak 1:7 18" SPR contour barrel White Oak fitted Bolt/BC/CH Standard A2 FH/thread protector Daniel Defense 12.0 FF forearm YHM Flip Up front sight and an un-named BUIS YHM Bipod Adapter Harris 9-13" bipod Lower: Stag arms lower RRA Lower Parts kit RRA 6 position Collapsible stock Glass: IOR M2 4X24 Scope with .223 BDC and Dragunov Reticle and BC covers Armalite 1 piece mount And a little bit of Krylon-Fu only put about 150 rounds through her and she has consistently shot well below 1 MOA at 100yds and right around .75 MOA at 200yds with 77gr FGMM. I haven't had a chance to get past 200. I am currently in the process of acquiring one of the new MARK 4 2.5-8X36 scopes with the new M2 knobs (1/2 MOA). When I do get it, I will report back with info on groups at longer ranges   |
I'd go more magnification if you can. Thats just me though. |
thanks bud, long time waiting. It has been harder than usual to learn this rifle, since it weights barely anything towards the muzzle, any slight movement causes it to move ALOT. So, with that though, it reinforces the fundamentals. |
