Wow! Gun Porn at its finest, makes me want to go out on a buying spree and max out the credit cards. Oops, forgot they are already maxed out, oh well I guess that means it is time to get more!

Seriously, those are some very nice sticks!

Glad to see the .308 Autoloaders, and the “M1A Mods”. Also, some very nice “Long Range” .223s.

Below is one of my .223s. It is currently restricted to punching paper and 4 legged targets. I am about to tear it apart and do some rebuilding so that if needed it can also go tactical. I went ahead and posted this as a “before” photo, when I get it rebuilt I will post an “after” photo.

My DPMS .308 is also currently being rebuilt for tactical, as soon as I get it done I will also post some pics.

Does anyone out there have one of the DPMS Panthers in .300 Remington SAUM? If so could you post some pictures, I am about to acquire one and start a build, looking for ideas and recommendations.

Thanks,
“Capt Richardson”

Very nice captrichardson. BTW....where'd you get your hands on that PRS? I saw a couple at a local gunshow this past weekend that had em for sale for around 275. I don't think they've started mass-producing them yet. Can't wait to get me one.

Here's mine. It started out as a worn out SR25 LW Match that a SWAT cop sold to me for $1500. I had the rifle completely reworked by G.A. Precision, who installed a 20" Obermeyer 5R barrel in a Mk11 Mod0 profile, a Mk11 Mod0 gas block I had on hand, bushing'd the upper and lower and tweaked everything else.  The total invested is less than I would have spent on a new SR25.

I have shot sub 1/4MOA groups with this rifle when I do everything right. Now I need to find someone willing to sell a Mk11 Mod0 suppressor without waiting a year + for 1 from KAC.

Looking good. Question though, what rings are you using?  I switched out the factory MK11 Mod 0 glass for a Leupy Mark IV 6.5-20x50 il. and my flip up will not fit under the rear now. Rings are KAC (mid height I believe)
I really want the Larue MK11 Mod 0 mount but seeing how it's not being currently produced that's making it difficult to find. I see you're not having clearance issues and it looks like your glass is bigger then a 40mm. Are you using KAC high rings or something else?
Link Posted: 11/28/2005 10:14:29 PM EDT
[#13]
I had a set of KAC "high" rings that didn't work with the 50mm objective on my Nightforce. So I sold them and am currently using Badger "Ultra Highs". I still have enough to get to a 1000yds with the NF and gives me clearance over the rear sight.
I'd like the Mk11 Mod0 mount also, but am in the same predicament as you.

Here is the latest discussion on the PRS:
PRS Stock

I was fortunate to be one of the "Test Pilots".

I would not hesitate to contact Magpul directly and see what they have to say, basically it is my understanding that it has gone public, but it has not hit the street in significant numbers yet.

I would say keep chasing one, they are definitely worth getting!

Thanks,
"Capt Richardson"

I checked into that, but hey were onlly giving like 10% off.

I would have done it IF the stock had a rear height adjustment. Instead I went with a Monopod.

Stag Arms lower, Bushy upper, Wilson barrel 1/8, Yankee Hill hand guard, MIAD grip, PRS stock. Probably going to use a Leupold Vari X III 8.5x25x50 M1 w/ mil dot. GGG Firesystem GS-1 and Badger rings. Going to cut it down to use a AAC M4-2000. I'm thinking 18 or 20".

I had the first one to hit the commercial market, sold it about 6 months ago. No complaints, very accurate. Here's how it looked just prior to selling the upper

Unfortunately I had to sell it in order to buy this:

I don't know if this AR10A2 without the free float stainless steel barrel would be considered "precision" by some, but it does okay:
