If you are looking into optics for your PR, there are plenty of people using the 6-24 and 5-25 but dont overlook the 3-18. It is a fantastic little scope The Kahles 3-18 riflescope

I've had 3 k624i's. All were kinda foggy. Bad enough that I'll probably never buy another Kahles. I hear the newer models are a lot better, but there are too many other proven options for me to take a chance. |

The newer 3-18x and 5-25x are better optically, but they’re still not on par with the top level of Alpha tier scopes. For roughly the same money as the Kahles K318i, you can get into a ZCO 4-20x, Steiner M7Xi 2.9-20x or NightForce ATACR 4-20x, all of which are markedly better. |

Interesting, I've used quite a few different Kahles scopes, never seen anything cloudy. |

For $1900… would a Kahles 318i be worth it? |
| I have not tried the current Kahles scopes. Many years ago, perhaps 25 years back, I bought a Kahles 2-7x-36 scope with German #4 reticle for a purpose built hunting rifle. I still have both. This scope has breathtaking optical clarity, resolving ability and is free from any aberrations that I can find. Superb. Stunning low light performance. Not intended for precision shooting, obviously. I sure Kahles (sister company of Swarvosli) has not dropped its quality. |

Can't speak to that model. The only Kahles scope I have is a capped turret Kahles Helia CL 2-7x36 hunting scope. SFP German #4 reticle. I have a lot of scopes, many high end. None has clearer, higher resolution, aberration-free than in that Kahles. Breathtaking. Incredible low light performance. It is about 20 years old. Can't speak to the quality of current production. |
