And IMHO, it will not help accuracy. How much who knows for sure... it could cause those pesky fliers.
But any inconsistent "back into battery" will cause everything to be.. well, inconsistent. And inhibits the firearm to achieve all the accuracy it can.
As also mentioned, you can bend the tube to allow free movement into the gas key.... trial and error is best, slow and steady... they can kink easily.
Some photos would be very helpful... my first PSA's also had the gas tube being forced upward.. clear from the front of the barrel nut, to the end.
Not to mention I would , personally like to see the type of barrel nut... there have been numerous versions.
And if it is a readily replaceable one...
Because I don't mind tinkering, I ground my PSA OEM barrel nut flatter where it made contact... again, all the way from fore to aft was needed for mine.
