Have 2 barrels I am about to send off to CLE for muzzle threading and CLE chambering. (sending them barrels and new bolts)

Would it be worth it to get them to make me a chamber gauge while they are at it?

https://compasslake.com/?product=cle-chamber-gauge

The cartridge case will not go all the way into the gauge. Please note the number stamped on the gauge, ex., 2.460”.
Measure the overall length (OAL) of the cartridge case plus the gauge. Please use an accurate caliper. You may need to wiggle the chamber gauge around a little bit to find the smallest reading on the caliper.
Your measurement must be the same as the number stamped on the gauge (the calibration number) plus .000” minus .002”.

Guessing these are made and calibrated for each particular chamber they cut if a guy wants one?

Appreciate any assistance.

If you plan to use a gauge, most definitely get theirs cut with the same reamer they cut your chamber with..You will always know the gauge is a mirror of your chambers...Ideally you would want to use the same reamer to do your sizing dies with as well....

Sorry for a dumb question but if I had dies cut with the same reamer as the chambers - How would that work?

The same way that we bump the shoulder back that tiny little bit to make sure they feed and chamber properly - Don't we want the body of the die a tiny bit smaller as well?

This is in regards to an AR15 pattern autoloader and not a bolt action type firearm if that matters.

Appreciate the help here from everyone!

Yeah, on a semi auto you won't want to do that....it is ok for the gauge though....Not exactly sure how they come up with the dies made off the reamer, never had one done, just heard it is the desirable way to do a LR type die set for serious LR work....
