I was gonna get one in 6.5 Creed but read in some reviews that some came with burred or rough chambers. Nice handy guns though.

I have been thinking about the 783 in a MDT or a ORYX chassis.

Use the hot link function (chain emblem). I think you have to be a Team member to embed YT videos.

BLACK RIFLE REVIEW 783REM 223 PRIMARYARMS SCOPE

Remington 783 16.5 " heavy threaded barrel in .308 caliber .

I use the .308 during night hunts and the .223 day light to dusk that .223 with the 55 grain Ballistic tip is devastating on Pigs and Coyotes .With pigs its either a neck or head shot puts them down .The .308 smacks them down.

you won't be disappointed make sure when you pick up your rifle from the store someone has not replaced the .223 mag with a .308 mag or vice a versa .I recommend the Sightmark Night vision Photon over the ATN X-Sight 4k pro they have a lot of problems with them. If you put a Tactical scope on the rifle I recommend the primary Arms like I have or the Hi-Lux Leatherwood ART Scopes  M-1000 on the .223 OR THE M-1200 on the .308 .

It would sure be a tack driver in those configurations .I would set them both up like that but I have a Remington .700 Magpul edition in .260 caliber & Ruger Persision Rifle in the .308 caliber .The 783 is light weight easy to carry around on stalks or just sit in a ground blind or Ladder stand over watching a feeder with the kill light or swine shine .

At the bottom of your own posts should be an Edit button.

Under others' is a Quote button which is what I used to reply directly to you. That's better for "fast" threads or ones like this where you have multiple replies.

Edit To Add (ETA): When I joined, it took 2 weeks to figure out the buttons and functions. I even had to learn the manual function tags during website updates. Example - " [img] image.jpg [img] "

Got one in this week. SYN HB 223 16.5" Everything looks very well put together on this rifle.  Ran a borescope down the barrel and for a factory gun its about as nice as I've ever seen one.  No chatter marks, nice polished surface, perfect crown.  Will get out to shoot it this week to test with some different loads and determine accuracy potential.  Overall I'm very pleased with the purchase so if it shoots good I'll chalk that up as a win, especially for the low cost.  Mounted a Leupold 8.5-25 target scope on it to test for accuracy.  Was thinking about painting the stock, but Remington makes a MO Break Up stock for it.  Might try one of those out if things work out.
