Does anyone know any smiths with time to fit a barrel in the next 2 months? It is getting close to time to rebarrel my rifle soon and it looks like most of the big places are a year out...I figure it is time to retire the old rem 700 action, so I have replaced it with a defiance tenacity... I know where a barrel is sitting(Bartlein Medium Palma) on the shelf ready to go, but I don't trust our local smiths to do it...I can't find anyone doing pre-fits that either have access to bartlein barrels right now, or build what I want(28"-30" length)...Anyone know anyone who does quality work and with a bit of free time?

30 cal, yes, the barrel is actually sitting on a shelf down south, will have it direct shipped to the smith, if needed I will send the tenacity down as well......One smith has responded, waiting for his answer now...Damn liberals have just destroyed the gun industry.....
