I finally have my RCBS Pro Chucker 5 all set up to load 338 lapua.  The pro chucker series is the only rcbs progressive press that can be set up to load this cartridge.  Just when I thought everything was ready I hit a problem.  The biggest RCBS powder measure that can be fitted to the pro chucker and use their linkage kit can only throw a Magnum rifle powder charge of 65 grains.  I need to throw a charge of 90 grains.

Anyone know of a way to get a powder measure to work with a charge this big on this press?

Sorry I cannot answer your question.  But my question is why progressive with 338 Lapua?  With the much explosive right next to my face, I use a single stage all my 338 reloads.  That is just me though.

Can you load the charges on the side the run the rest through your progressive?

Sucks, but I wouldn't have ever thought to load 338 on a progressive. I would do it on my T7 or another single stage/turret press. Not cranking through 200 rounds a day of 338. Or maybe you are.
