A couple of months ago we were doing some MESH antenna work at a local high school and I took a digger coming off a ladder up on the roof. Scraped up, busted a bone in my foot and my FT2DR stopped working.
Healed up and finally got around to dropping off the radio at Yaesu last week. I just got a phone call saying it had been repaired under warranty. I did not expect that at all. In fact I was ready to scrap it. In between the fall and dropping off the FT2 for a estimate , I picked up a FT3 on sale...guess I now have a loner HT.

Yaesu builds a great product, and has great warranty support.

I have a VR-120D All-Band Receiver.
Size of a pack of cigarettes, but built like a tank. I've had it FOREVER and it just keeps working. |
