I wasn't sure where to put this, but I'm looking for a battery storage for my gun bag or my pack. I need it for cr123, 18650, and 1632 right now, but that will probably change in the future as I get more gear I need batteries for.
If I should post this elsewhere let me know. Would love to see and hear what you guys use.

Storacell. They have models for all size batteries.

Just pick up a smaller Pelican 1040/1020 and cut the foam to fit.

Dont know about the 1632 but I have a few of these, holds either 4 cr123s or 2 18650s.  Not super robust but are good for organizing a pack.

Cheap if already ordering something,  shipping might be ridiculous by themselves.

I go for Storacell or this small 3-d printer manufacturer: https://www.pwmachining.com/battery-cases-shop.
You can make custom mixes:

For AAs I've used storacells.

Other sizes I usually just wrap in VCI paper and stuff in a zip lock.

For larger quantities I use the appropriate size MTM ammo boxes I think CR123s are 29 gauge

There's a guy on eBay who sells plastic clear folding ones that holds eight cr123s or four 18650 batteries and I think an eight pack is like 10 bucks shipped.

I use these and a Magpul AR grip to store batteries for the rifle optic.

Case vault is way too expensive for the small amount you can carry in it. That's not nearly enough batteries.

Yeah, it looks cool but its too pricy for me. If they were in the $20 range, might of bought a couple.

With the amount of lights and items that use cr123 and 18650 you would need at least 12 to last a weekend or so most likely of cr123 and probably 4 18650 so you can swap them out and charge and that's only if it's you and one other person. I think a pelican case with one of the other solutions shown above is a better option or even a zip lock and the other options shown here.

General RULE is to store batts in a waterproof container that does NOT allow terminals of the batts to touch each other.  Generally speaking, the lower the temp of the stored batt, the slower the deterioration of initial charge.  Storage of batts in original container in bottom of properly adjusted fridge is fine, as long as the batt containers are encapsulated in air-tight/water-tight baggies.

For field use, strongly suggest decent and durable waterproof containers that prevent inadvertant batt terminal connection, no matter if some batts have been removed.

It may be tempting to buy an inexpensive and "decent" batt holder/container and use a baggie over it for field use.  Likely fine for fridge storage, but suggest that baggies are fragile and unreliable in the field.
