I know we had a thread recently discussing the FT-891, but I can't find it so will ask here.

I just got an FT-891.  Been playing around with it today getting used to the menus.  I will mostly use it mobile in the truck, but also want to be able to use the digital modes sometimes as well.  I have an extra SignaLinkUSB to use as the soundcard and would like to set it up to use Olivia on the ARFCOM digital net.  But every time I go to 40m it goes to LSB.  I looked through the manual and did some searches and I can't find how to set it to 7.114 in USB.  Anyone know or can point me to the secret command to change LSB to USB on 40 and 80 meters?  There has to be something I am overlooking.

If it's not doing the right mode from the software you're using, you can hit the mode button and cycle thru to set USB.

The mode button only cycles to SSB not USB or LSB.

But I think I found it, the SSB BFO command.   I'll try it when I go back in the shack.

That's right you have to go into the menu and set the ssb bfo

The 891 is great ..... the mode node selection sucks
