I’m still in the dreaming phase, but someday! I’d like to know what are your favorite books that get your blood pumping and your daydreaming in high gear??

Peter Capstick Hathaway’s Death in the Long Grass and others are great. His writing style is very readable.

Horn of the Hunter by Robert Ruark is by far and away my favorite.

African Game Trails by Roosevelt is good too.

Peter Capstick did a reprint of 14 classics.  I pieced the collection together over a few years.  They are all excellent.

African Rifles and Cartridges by John Taylor is a good read too.

Thanks for this recommendation.  I don't get as much time as I'd like to read, but I started on this a few days ago and it is great.  I'm looking forward to reading a few of the others mentinoned in this thread as well.
