Ran the generator.
Set aside designated extension cords and power strips in a DO NOT TOUCH marked Rubbermaid tub.

Going to Mom's to fire up the "way tooo big for her needs" 6500 Honda that dad fell in love with before he passed.

You can do local only or local and cloud/mobile app.   The Zmodo NVR is the device that allows you to have local HDMI output.   The cameras by themselves (without getting the NVR) will only be available on their mobile app/cloud.

You have control over the routing and protocol of the packets.  Or you can simply just have it not connected to an ethernet jack.

Cool, thanks for the info.  I'll probably order a 4-camera setup.

Bought 1600 rds of MEN 9mm. It's supposed to be basically their mil, and might be overrun. Good points are that the bullets and primers should be sealed, bullet weight is 124gr (more optimal than 115gr), and the bullets and primers should be sealed. Clean brass ammo. Should be great field ammo, that can put up with wet and cold if anything ever happens. Will keep it stored, and shoot up everything else.

Had a thought... did get rid of my 'sports car' and replaced it with a Jeep Cherokee in a very subdued color. Used to get stuck in flat parking lots in winter. Now can go through a foot of snow and has some decent clearances.

Built a Truck Water Kit (see below), which is part of my modular get-home-bag/bug-out-bag system. Also, I have been working a lot on a Disaster Preparedness Plan system for my buddy's LDS church. It's being designed to help families that are new to disaster preparedness and teaches them how to create a disaster preparedness plan. I'll share more with you guys down the road once I get most of the formatting out of the way.

Switched out my GHB backpack for another bag I like better.  I reorganized the supplies and added some cash to keep in it as well.

I received two new Surefire headlamps I ordered from Amazon.  Charged them up and put one in each car's glovebox.

Restocked the extra chicken food / dog food and rotated out the older stock for them to eat.

Worked more on my LDS Disaster Preparedness Kit project. Finished the formatting today for the Disaster Preparedness Plan system in the kit and now I have to finish up the system's content, i.e., the instructional guide and over 35 examples (mini plans, Checklists, Forms, Inventories).

cleaned and reorganized the freezers yesterday. getting rid of the ice and random crap got room in there for me to buy good turkey at 40cents a pound. going to stock up like crazy since we like it a bunch of ways and it's cheap protein.

also got a pile of chicken and beef. I'm probably good on ammo but would be hungry after 2 weeks if I don't do a better job with this...

Bought 1600rds of MEN 124gr 9mm.

Good mil grade ammo, with sealed bullets and primers. All new mfg.

My final 'doomsday' supply of it. I have a lot more of other various kinds, but will shoot all that up on the range before buying any more 9mm.

I finished off the Disaster Preparedness Plan (DPP) binder for my LDS project today (see pics below) and now I'm working on the DPP Instructional Guide. Will most likely be hitting you guys up for some help/input on the guide's example section content. I'll make an individual post in the near future to talk more about the guide and binder.

Picked up a couple more 1lb. propane canisters for the single burner Coleman stove. Definitely a nice thing to have when the power goes out. Also grabbed a couple cases of water to rotate out old stock.

We have a blizzard starting now, I guess a few days without power would be interesting if nothing else.

Thanks @GremlinHunter

No plans to sell the binder, it cost around $90 just for the binder and all it's contents. Thats too costly to sell and make a profit.

My goal, once everything is finshed, is to make everything (word documents) available to the general public via a website so LDS folks can get updated/new content (Forms, Checklists, and Inventories) for their binders. Once everything is in place, I'll post a link to the site on ARFCom so you guys can have access to it.

And this controls the pellet feed rate to control the heat range.

Picked up about 7 or 8 flats of canned food to add to the pantry rotation and ordered a couple #10 cans of MH.
Also added some more long term items such as instant coffee, honey, salt and pepper, TP etc.
And the other day my wife gave me one of my Christmas presents early: a Tops Silent Hero.

Woohoo!

I encouraged every 18-20 year old to purchase as many semi-auto rifles as they could in WA state, to defeat the spirit of the law and still be within the letter of the law.   The "Tea Party" will start here.  Prepare patriots.

Most likely intended to be used for diesel fuel.  Yellow for diesel, red for gasoline, dark blue for kerosene and green for all kinds of stuff.

Cut down a dying red oak in my yard.  It added nearly a cord of wood for next winter.  I've got two more white oaks to cut up at a neighbor's property that came down in the last hurricane.  I should have somewhere around 5 cords ready for next winter.
