Looks like someone ran a plow all night in my yard. So last night I shined my green game spotter with my Trijicon credo green segmented circle and was amazed at how it had zero effect on them. Good clean image at ~100 yards. Gonna bait them in the woods this week and hopefully post up some dead piggies next weekend. I’m thinking I’ll put a 77gr Nosler right between its eyes

Here is a small area they tore up

I told a neighbor that I haven’t had a pig picture in months. Well two little black bastards showed up. I got to get the hay mowed now so I can do a pig patrol.

FWIW I tried something new in my hay field...(approx 15 acres)... my thoughts were that piggies have such good noses... what if we put something that was obnoxious to us, the pigs should be really miffed it was around... I put over 3 lbs of moth balls over my field... smelled like my grandma's old house for a while... anyway i was getting nightly pics... no hog pics for a couple weeks now... it was probably just something new scared them but you never know....

It's a pretty good blind, all things considered

Damn I thought I had it easy shooting off my porch. I can shoot out my bedroom window like that, but not sure how the wife would feel about our window open on a hot summer night in south Louisiana

The cost of lumber and metal just sent me into a depression.

Awe that sucks! I hope it doesn’t discourage her.

Nah, she’s pretty tough. It’s definitely not the first time she’s covered in it.
Her and I will be hunting them Friday/Saturday night.

I have a S Hogster and Breach inbound. Tired of coyotes and hogs. It’s about to get real.

I just purchased the Deathgrip BOG tripod myself.  I'm looking forward to using it on some pigs also.

We hunted Friday and Saturday night but the week long monsoon we had prior to the weekend had certain areas flooded and I think it may have kept them away. It’s drying up now, so hopefully they’ll be back. I’m debating to shoot the sow or a piglet.
I may shoot the sow and see if any piglets come back to her. That’s if they even come back. I put corn out tonight, so I’ll know soon enough.
