I worked the 4 corners of the United States on 15m well after sunset yesterday, then I did it again on 20m 2 hours later. Don't think that it's time to go to 40m because the sun went down. Great QSO's yesterday too, lots of 59's both ways.

11m is still full of garbage, so 10m should still be good.

11M is a good way to see if 10M is open.
10M is also opening in the mornings pretty early. I worked the Czech Republic Saturday morning on my way to work in the mobile. Heard some Brits on Sunday morning but couldn't work them. IC-706mk2g, 70W into a Wilson 2000 mounted in the right rear stake pocket. Old pics with the Hustler resonator. Don't mind the dust. I live in a desert.

Well when you think about it, for a lot of DX the station at one or the other end of the contact is going to be in the dark much of the time.

I managed to snag the XU7GNY Cambodia tonite at about 04:07 on 21.074 This is an ATNO for me and when confirmed will make 302
I was surprised at the amount of DX still coming in. Pacific and Asia, but Malawi and some south America and Caribbean too. |
