So I’m sure I’m doing something wrong, but it’s my first garden that’s actually growing somewhat decent. From left to right:

Hanging planter: red beefsteak tomato

Wooden planter: hot banana pepper, Cajun bell pepper, mucho nacho jalapeño pepper x2, spearmint

Green planter (I need a cage): red beefsteak tomato

Small planter: sweet basil

Tomato planter: Cherry tomato

I’m really considering building a hydroponic setup inside that greenhouse area, wife wants more cilantro, basil, chive, all sorts of herbs.

I’m also considering moving the Spearmint to its own planter and replacing it with another pepper variety

I want to grow Strawberries, Blue Berries, Tomatoes and some kinda mild peppers.

I wonder if I could get them growing in pots and not have to do a whole Garden.

Happy Frog If you can find this stuff locally, get some.  Full of all kinds of microbes and bat guano.  You have a couple pots that need more soil.  Bring them up an inch from the top.

How do you handle watering (and preventing overwatering) of the beefsteak tomato plant in that container?

Are there holes in the bottom of the container?

(I have lots of experience using self-watering Earthboxes for growing tomatoes, but no experience using any other type of container for gardening, so I'm pretty clueless when it comes to that type of gardening.)
