Recreational you need to get
TRUST certified. If the drone is under 250 grams no need to register it. Over 250 you need to
register it and its $5. You will also need to make sure it is remote ID capable or have an add on unit for it.
If you make money or anything of value in exchange for flying you need trust and a
Part 107 certification.
For camping, make sure you have a way to charge the drone as most are in the 25-35 minute flight time depending on atmospherics and how you are flying.
The mini 4 is nice, but for many the mini 3 isn't that much of a step back and would be great.
