Finally, just my second bear in 15 years of bear hunting (off and on). Small, about 120-130 live weight. 90 minutes in the stand.
  
Mossberg 500 with a rifled slug, no scope, right through the heart. Ran about 50 feet. Looking forward to some tasty bear meat! |

That is a baby.... jk
White tails are huge up north compared to NC, but our bears are huge. I think our record is 880 lbs, and normal coastal bear weights are over 300. |
