Did a little work yesterday, cut the pcs for front guard and cab protection. It will hold a generator and 2 wheel barrels. I know it looks odd w/o horizontal supports, that metal is still at work, hope to get enuf done today before chillin at the lake to cut the supports this week. Simple jig because working by yourself can suck at times....worst part is dropping shit and then climbing off/down to get it

One reason I like Lowes over HD is because of their military discount program. Lowes be like, "It's 10% off everything." Home Depot be like, "It's 10% off unless it's on sale, or something we have to order, or if it's 70% of the brands in store, or if you spend more than $500 it's going to stop at $50, or only 3 days a year if you're a veteran and not a retiree, or if you're buying something in certain product categories."
That said there are certain things I go to HD for over Lowes. I don't bother buying plywood or SPF lumber from Lowes anymore. The quality is frankly shit, and until they change their supplier I'll go elsewhere. Lumberyards tend to be cheaper than both of them anyways. |

will do a couple 3/4" or 1" tacks to keep noise down, not hauling water. not sure over cab yet, it will get a railing setup to tie to, mainly plan on a couple wheel barrels and generator maybe.
We will see probably 2 x 6 or metal, it will help protect cab and shade it also |
