While Santa didn't bring me a new gun, he did send me enough money to fill up the "new gun" jar.  I'm going to get either a Savage 110 hunter or a Remington 700 in 300 Win Mag. All my AR type rifles measure out to 12 - 12.5 inches LOP. My 308 SPS bolt gun is 13.5 but feels just right with the recoil pad off (but I can't shoot it that way). If I get the Savage with accu stock will I run into any problems with being too close to the stock with a 12 - 12.5" LOP?

If you're really into LOP and getting your rig setup 'perfectly', you might want to consider getting an aftermarket adjustable stock like the magpul, but I've heard some of those aftermarket stocks won't let you remove the bolt.
