Going to be hitting up Higgins and Au Sable this coming weekend

Where about and what depth are the perch hitting at? Want to bring home a fair amount for the winter

As far as line
I’ll be fishing my neighbors pound out of large mouth bass and cats
He dumped 200 perch in and the bass demolished them so he’s wanting to fish a fair amount of the bass out

So what sort of line would y’all recommend
It’ll be going on my Shakespeare PRIUS which has served me very well in the past

I haven’t been fishing since I was 15 (26 now)

Should I just run 10# all the way ?

I would definitely be running two different setups

Depending on how you going to fish the bass and catfish, but I would probably go 15 to 20 pound

Perch I stay on the lighter side 6 lb to 8 lb depending on depth in Michigan

From what I had read in the DNR reports
Perch are hitting 40-60 ft down
