Just an FYI, their prices are much higher than they were early last year.

Seeing around a 30% increase.

I would guess a bit of the increase is the cost of steel.  It is increasing weekly.  Food overall has also been increasing, but not at the same percentage overall.  Certain food items have jumped, others are still holding close to costs a year ago.  It seems likely that food will continue to increase, and stocking up on some is likely one of your better investments at this time.

For example, granulated sugar has gone from $ 25.50 to $28.50 per 50 lb bag by the skid.  A moderate increase over the last 14 months, and not an unusual fluctuation.

Wholesale bulk boneless skinless chicken breast has gone from 95 cents per lb to up to $ 2.50 in the same time period.  It has dropped 35 cents from it's high in the last 3 weeks however.
