Suppressed deer hunting is great. I don’t hunt without using a can .

I received my new can this week as well. Hoping to bring it along on a death hike in October.

Y'all should try bow hunting...

No expensive Class III items necessary to stay quiet...less people around...deer aren't run ragged by other gun hunters...much more enjoyable experience.

Yes! I've been bow hunting for many years, but switched to the crossbow in 2018. It's a much better time in the woods; I refuse to hunt on public land during the gun season...

And with modern crossbow tech... OMG. I just sighted my crossbow up to 90 yards; I can easily make confident kill shots up to 60 yards!

This is a 60-yard shot with noticeable side wind coming from the right

Everything up to 40 yards looked like this:

This is my last week of work so I should have time to deer hunt this year.
I have a AR 350L with a R9 can on it for OH deer.

For whitetails perhaps...
But come out to South Dakota mule deer country in October when the non residents hit the state.  People everywhere and any muley with more than spikes will be chased onto private in no time.

The only time I have hunted suppressed besides some culling in Africa is on hogs.

I hunt on private ground in MO and the closest public ground is 30 miles away.

For me it makes no sense.

We hunt from blinds and rarely take a second shot.

If it floats you boat fine by me.
