I don't need him, but figured I'd let those who do know. He's booming here at +15, so I sure wish he was on SSB or CW.

I worked him once and he was looking for the west coast.

I threw my call in anyway and he answered it and said he was looking for the west coast and started to reprimand me.

I told him you might want to let it slide because I was running 30 watts and a 2 meter whip and it was the rig on my QRZed page.

"I didn't know that. Your little rig is making the trip! You are 5 over! Amazing!  You are IN THE LOG!"

Stan, KE5EE runs a pretty good DX net on 14.207 at about 0800 Eastern.

I just worked Kangaroo Island (VK5KI) about 20 minutes ago.

He gets all sorts of rare DX check-ins and I've gotten an ATNO or two from it.

Good deal! I worked him around 14 months ago. While I used to  check out Stan's net for ATNO's when I first got on the air, I ran into VK5KI somewhere else.

Just got T32EU 14.210+5.   Not hearing him all that well since I'm at home.  Probably have him a real 59 if I was mobile.

He told someone else something about them working 6m.

Good one! He was my 100th DX entity back in July 2021. In fact, I had three different QSO's with him -- all late at night around midnight eastern time, and I seemed to be the only one answering his CQ's. Maybe the SFI being in the 70's contributed to his lack of responses. Getting a card from him was a chore, but I actually did receive one after a very long wait.

To say the least. I won't get into what I had to go through to get my card.

My card came with about a dozen other cards for Stateside hams and I dutifully forwarded them on my nickel.

I stuck a note of explanation in each envelope signed with my name and callsign.

Not ONE fucking thank you email. Nothing.

I figure the flurry of activity from them was Easter related. They're usually silent for long periods of time.
