I've been ice fishing 35 years and have always used the Jiffy auger I got from my Grandpa. But since it's older than me I think it's time to upgrade. What make and model should I be looking at? Have the ION batteries been holding up since they came out?

if you want 8 inch holes and smaller the hand augers with a power drill work well

I picked up the new Jiffy that runs on propane, I LOVE IT
No gas smell, no charging batteries. First trip out and my buddy bought one too
