I went with Daly for my first, but I’ll likely upgrade to the Overkill.

Awesome choice! These seem to be the simplest and most bulletproof available. I wish I had went this route instead of my Chargery.

I'm using one in my 12V 280Ah battery.  It's great.

The app is a lot better than the "other" 4-16S Chinese BMS I have.  It connects right up and isn't written in Engrish.
The output cables are much beefier as well and the docs are great.  I have a lot of faith in the Overkill BMS.

How did you handle the compressing of the cells?

The space on the right where the bms goes.
After putting the cells in the box, with VHB tape between them, I placed the end piece of plywood in.
I dropped a block of wood in that space to pry against.
I pried the plywood into place about 1/4" or so.
There is closed cell padding on each end.
As I pried the peartition I place, I screwed it in from the front and bottom.

Then I hooked up the bus bars and BMS.

Finally got most of my parts in and got everything together. Just waiting on my Renogy pure sine wave inverter...

Took a little bit to get the BMS booted up, but everything is functioning now.

Now I just need to design a mounting arrangement.
