It’s not that bad in Vermont. The negative is centered around Burlington and they can have those outrageous real estate prices that come with it.
Literally, the farther you travel from Burlington, the more conservative it gets. The property of mention is something any of us would cherish and frankly I’d be the first in line if it wasn’t so far from work and the community that my family is strongly involved in. |

ITT we learn who doesn't know anything about Vt.
The only blue part of the state is Burlington, and a few small ski towns that have been invaded by flatlanders. I live about 30 minutes south of the place OP is talking about. And I hunt in that area. Brandon/Sudbury are very nice small towns full of good people. The assessed value is pretty much right on for the area. If I didn't already own a house OP, I might think about buying it. |

The western Ohio border is as close to the east coast population centers as I care to get.
 In a major event the hundred or so million folks between New Haven and Norfolk are going to start moving mostly west. |
