My land is mostly cactus and mesquite trees not very forgiving! So like to know what is a good long sleeve shit for thorns and brush? Yet is it not too heavy to work in at 100+ degree days? Thanks!

Might want to look at safari clothing geared for Proffesional hunters. Lots of African safaris are in hot weather and Africa is FULL of thorns or every variety.

FWIW, I wear lightweight, all cotton caped with mesh shirts like TAG offers on safari. If I get tears from catching in thorn brush, I sew up the tears. I wear short sleeves, though. I would rather bleed than roast.
