Bands aren't very good. Way up and down. I did just work a SC station for his first AK.

I agree. My noise was way above normal tonight, and it the lightning wasn't there, I would have had no issues.

What radio are you running? Your signal was strong but I think a little gain or EQ adjustment on the mic might help.

I used someone else's settings for my 891 to help out.
